Hey Reader,

Welcome to another edition of Insert Into Notion newsletter.

Where I unfold how you can use Notion to your advantage.

This week (or should I say catching up for previous week), I'll show & explain my golden 5 of productivity.

The systems that I use every day to stay consistent & plan everything in one place.

They're not complicated, but can save at least 10 hours each week.

And help me achieve more & plan for a long run.

The best systems are simple & effective at the same time.

No fancy things, just the ones I need the most.

The name says it all.

Let's dive in, shall we?

1/ Daily Planner

This part I'm using to time-block and schedule events or tasks that require certain hours. To see everything in an organized way later. The database is also connected to Notion Calendar and it syncs automatically whenever I update it. There's nothing else on that page besides this calendar with different views to ensure the simplicity. Just the way I like.

2/ Tasks Manager

The page that I use the most for sure. From planning my to-do list, scheduling my tasks to seeing the deadlines. Also the recent feature that I've added: Task Schedule - setting the theme of the day f.e. Monday is for content creation, Tuesday for client work etc. helps a lot. Can definitely recommend that. Tasks obviously have priorities when they're scheduled to know what needs to be done first.

3/ Projects

Similar page as Tasks Manager, just for bigger projects. Projects Ideas, All Projects and Project Timeline are the only database views on that page. Also every project has their own Start-Deadline date, Area of Life, Status and Project Tasks if needed. All you'll ever need in terms of planning your projects.

4/ Goals

The name speaks for itself. Basically planning my monthly, quarterly and yearly goals with reflection at the end of every month. I like setting up most of my goals based on input. On every goal you can plan & think small steps towards that goal. Really handy in my opinion.

5/ Habit Tracker

I think it's the simplest page in my system. One calendar database with one Weekly View that automatically generates a page with my habits every day through recurring feature. To know what I need to do every day no matter what.

Like I said the best systems are meant to be simple and efficient.

That's a wrap!

I would also like to apologize for the lack of a newsletter last Friday, but this is to compensate for that.

And for that reason I offer you a whopping 60% off on my newest system: Task & Time Optimizer - the system that contains 4 of the 5 things that I mentioned here. You can get it here

As a token of appreciation for being with me.

Thank you in advance!

Also be sure to check the footer of this email to see how I can help further with using Notion to your advantage.

And remember...

Let the system work for you.

Not the other way around.

Talk soon,

Matthew
